Rental Policy

Everything you need to know about renting from Saga by Himani — deposits, returns, damage, cleaning, cancellations, try-ons, and pickup/delivery in Surrey and Metro Vancouver.
Rental Duration
Our standard rental period is 3 days. This typically covers pickup 1–2 days before your event and return the day after. Need an extension for a destination event or photoshoot? Message us — we may be able to accommodate based on availability.
Refundable Deposit
Every rental requires a refundable security deposit in addition to the rental fee. The deposit amount is listed on each product page. It's returned in full after inspection, provided the outfit is returned on time and in the same condition.
Late Returns
Late returns delay other clients. A late fee applies after the agreed return date — typically 25% of the rental fee per additional day, deducted from the deposit. Please message us in advance if you anticipate a delay.
Damage Policy
Minor wear (makeup marks, small stains, loose threads) is expected and not penalised — that's what the dry-clean process is for. Significant damage (large tears, lost dupattas, irreparable stains) is assessed individually and deducted from the deposit. Loss of an outfit is charged at the full replacement value.
Cleaning
Dry cleaning is included and handled by Saga by Himani unless otherwise stated. Please do not attempt to clean the outfit yourself, including spot cleaning at home — many fabrics and embellishments need specialised care.
Cancellations
We understand wedding plans shift. Cancellations made 14+ days before the event are eligible for a credit toward a future rental. The refundable deposit is always returned. Within 14 days of the event, rental fees become non-refundable as the outfit is reserved exclusively for you.
Try-On Appointments
Try-ons are by appointment only, free, and typically last 45–60 minutes. We pull your shortlist before you arrive so the time is spent on you, not searching racks. You're welcome to bring 1–2 people for honest second opinions.
Pickup / Delivery
Pickup from our Surrey studio is included. Delivery within Metro Vancouver is available for a small fee — message us with your postal code for an exact quote. We do not currently ship outside Metro Vancouver.
